Gpu Fan Speed Adjustment
My Aspire Z3620 AMD HD6450 is running very hot and shuts the computer down. I have been monitoring the temperatures of the GPU and at idle it sits at 72 Celsius. If i open Gimp or PS the temperature goes up to 80 and if i open youtube it hits 95.
I feel that maybe the fan is not working correctly . In Catalyst Control Center i have tride to manually adjust the fan to see if there is any change to the GPU temperature but with the above programs running there is no change if the fan speen is set from 20% or 100%.
Does anyone know what the correct sort of temperature it should run at, if the fan is working correctly and if i can upgrade to a bigger fan as the summers here are quite warm

I have experienced this also before and I found the solution with my desktop computer. Basically, heat related issues on processors are usually caused by CPU fan failure or loose connection of the heatsink. Carefully check the heatsink if properly in contact with the processor. You may need to change the CPU fan and heatsink.
