Yes it is. Sites like DH Gate and Alibaba do not sell licensed goods such as Nike, Adidas or Puma. They are knock-offs. And you can get in serious trouble if one of these companies finds out you are selling counterfeit goods. And your reputation as a seller will be ruined.
Contrary to the post below though, you do not need an agreement with the company to sell those products. You just need to purchase them from a legitimate licensed distributor, or, let's say, you go to a store and find a particular shoe that is being marked-down or discontinued, and is a great deal. You can buy those shoes and then resell them on your site for a profit. They just have to be authentic product.
