Call the customer care of that operator by dialing 198 with same operator sim and tell them that you have lost your sim , they will verify your name and address if its matched with that sim document then they will deactivate it .. otherwise dont use sim for 3 month it will automatically get deactivate.

You can deactivate or block your sim card by calling customer care service tell them about your problem. They will ask you some questions to verify your ownership
