Aol 9.6 Tool Bar Text Is Way Too Small On Windows 7

I have checked every search and user group I can find and still I am unable to increase my AOL 9.6 tool bar and email text to a readable size. It is way too small. Nothing works including going to Settings, Font, increase,, it changes web pages but not my tool bar and email in box and email text size which still remains way to small.
