You need to do a few things to correct this situation, assuming that you did not receive a phishing email advising you of this charge and reservation.

If you did receive a phishing email, it is designed to upset you and get you to click on the links, perhaps to provide more personal information. There have been several instances of people receiving this type of phishing emails. When you think about it, it is more logical than someone defrauding your credit card company for $336.36

Moreover, there is no American Airlines flight number which reads: ABA followed by a 5 digit number. Their flight numbers are 4 digit numbers.

If this is a legitimate charge for a flight you did not book, you need to cancel it asap.

Contact your credit card company to report the problem since it involves identity theft and fraud. If you go online to check your statement you will have more details such as when this charge was made. Be advised that they may tell you they require a cancellation confirmation number provided by American Airlines.

Go to American Airlines either on line or by phone. If you are an American Airlines AAdvantage customer you can log in to your account, enter the confirmation number and cancel the flight - the problem is that you will then incur a cancellation charge.

You can call AAdvantage at 1-800-882-8880. Please say "AAdvantage Account" when prompted at the Main Menu.

You can also call Reservations at 1-800-433-7300 24/7. Quickly explain the problem and ask to be transfered.

But I think you were the victim of phishing.
