Lost And Found Dfw

How do I get someone, anyone to answer the lost & found number at DFW. When I did get the main operator, he said they have had trouble all day, with the lost & found dept. Even Delta lost and found are getting their calls. BAD BAD customer service from a company the size of American. BAD BAD BAD.
