Audiovox Ve927 Channel Displays Sequence And Channel Sellection

I have an Audiovox VE927.  The channels do not run in sequencel order. For example channel 2 through 24 displays as 2-0 through 2-24, but then it jumps to channel 32-38 and then 60-xx, then 62-xx etc.  I cannot not mannual select channel 200, but I can scroll to it.  What is going on with this dumb thing!?
