Firmware

I have the Belkin F9k1001v1   N150 router. I received a popup saying I needed to update the firmwar. I updated it. Now I keep drooping the connection. Can I have the original formware back?   XP service pack three.

The firmware upgrade must've erased the router's settings and restored it to the default settings (Ex: The network name ssid of wifi, the password and the control channel). The control channel is the range of the signal the wifi router uses. Each wifi router or any other device (which uses internet)  use a control channel to send the packets. If the channel number clashes with any other wifi networks' there will be interference. To avoid this, you need to change the channel to something different.  I hope this helps.....  :)
