Batteries In The Camera Discharging Rapidly Whether The Camera Is In Use Or Not
Our Cassio EX FH20's batteries are discharging very rapidly regardless of whether the camera is in use or not. We have had this camera for 4 years and never had this problem until recently. We use rechargeable [new] Ni-MH batteries. For example, if we put in fresh batteries and use the camera for perhaps 100 still photos within a 30 minute period of time, the batteries will be drained to near empty. Or, if I put in newly charged batteries in and just let it sit for 1 week - the camera will not turn on and I discover the batteries are fully discharged. Prior to this problem, I could take an hour of video or 5000 stills and the batteries discharged to the point where the camera would turn off. Thanks for any advice you can provide.
