How Did Memory Lane Get My Credit Card Number From You?

I've been chaged $59.42 US funds from Memory Lane formerly Classmates which I cancelled over a year ago.  Why did you give them my credit card number when your site says it's secure?

It's a strange question, as we are neither Memory Lane nor Classmates, but an independent help site. Those two are the same company, so there's no security breach.  You can protest any charges with:

Classmates Online, Inc.
P.O. Box 1269
Renton, WA 98057

If necessary, you could dispute the charges with your card provider, and complain to the Washington Office of the Attorney General at 800-551-4636, or at http://www.atg.wa.gov/.
