Do you have a multimeter? If so probe pos & neg of your battery whilst the car is running and check weather the dc voltage from 14+volts is going down fast or slow and keep the engine running until the battery reaches 9 volts dc. If its a new battery then your alternator or regulator(massive diode) is faulty. The next step is to check the above and measure the output. If all fails First remove the regulator cover on the rear of the alternator and buzz that, have the engine off. If you get a diode reading and or continuity it should be fine. Start the car and again check the dc output from the alternator that may need to be replaced as your car will never start, and thats less than 10 minutes. Give the alternator a tap with a hammer on the front with a touch of force and a little bit on the side in order for the brushes to have the best contact it can have at the moment. Good luck and hopefully its your regulator as their very cheap or install a re co / new alternator and not knowing what kind of car it is check your fuses and relays first.
