Usually a PC shutsdown automatically due to overheating of CPU. you said that you didn't used it for months it must be the dust.

Now try to clean up your pc using a airblower or wipe the dust and change your termalpaste for better absurdities of heat to the heatsink and make sure cpu fan is working properly it might save your PC.

An overheating power supply, due to a malfunctioning fan, can cause a computer to shut off unexpectedly. ... Software utilities, such as SpeedFan, can also be used to help monitor fans in your computer. Tip. Check the processor heat sink to make sure it is properly seated and has the correct amount of thermal compound.
