Paying Mission Trip Group Is Being Refused Continentals Help

Our Baptist churches have used Cont. Airlines for years to send missionaries to Los Mochis to do Mission work. We travel in groups and are getting ready to send another group this month. One members wife became seriously ill, and Cont. Airlines will not allow anyone else to use the ticket purchased to help our trip. The told us they can sell the unused seat and if someone else wants to go, we need to buy another ticket!!! The unused ticked with be partially credited to the holder only for flights this year only. Is this a helpfull Airline? Don't they want all our continuing business???? How can we fix this????
