Can We Get A Refund Due To Delays, Reassignments, Missed Flights?

We purchased electronic tickets from Priceline. Continental was the main ticket holder. Saturday on our return flight we were to leave Richmand, VA at 11:06 flight 4342. It was delayed till 12:45 which would make my sister and I miss our next 2 connecting flights. American rerouted us through Dallas instead of Chicago. We got to DIA at 4:48 our Great Lates flight 7240 left at 4:20 with no other flight till the next morning. We needed to get back to Scottsbluff before Sunday. We had realatives pick us up at DIA and meet half way in Cheyenne, WY to get us back to Scottsbluff. Is there anyway we can recoup any of our Great Lakes flight expense. When I talked to Great Lakes they informed me we had to go through Continental.

You can try calling customer service at 1- 800-932-2732 But, airlines usually will not give you travel refunds if you 'leave' the airline to make you own arrangements. They should however, have transferd you to the great lakes flight free of charge.
