Have Not Received $450 Refund For Upgrade Not Received On 2/18/12 Flight.

Have been on hold with telehone # on & off for MANY hours since last week and finally got 1 person who told me to FAX credit card bill of $450.  That was sent on 3/14/12 but STILL NO RESPONSE! Now just hung up after 2 hours hold and NO person!!! NOT a way to treat customers or operate business!! Also have NOT been credited my 35,000 miles that were taken for this upgrade that didn't happen. I would appreciate compensation for the hours I have spent on this and my aggravation.  My One Pass #RX209564 Donna Ivy Wilkes flight from EWR_DEL on 2/18/12 PLEASE FINALLY HELP> [email protected]

Ms Ivy, for your own safety, you posted too much personal information on a public forum.

There is an online form for contacting United Airlines about your monetary and mileage refunds but it appears that you have already started the process...which might have to be repeated if you do not see a mileage credit in your MileagePlus account.  I assume that you sign-in and check it regularly.

To check the status of your refund, enter your 8-digit refund request number or your ticket number and last name in the spaces provided on the United Home page in the Change or View Reservations box.

If you used a credit card to purchase your tickets, your refund will be processed within 7 business days. If you used any other payment method, your refund will be processed within 20 business days.

You are correct about that the understaffed phone system and the long waits when trying to reach United Airlines has not improved since the merger.
