Why Is The Customer Service So Bad?
I left along with two of my friends yesterday at 5:47 pm out of RDU for Aguadilla, Puerto. We had a connection in Newark, NJ where we did all but land as the pilot came over the intercomb saying he overshot the runway? We fly circles around the airport waiting for air traffic to clear us for landing. Once we finally get off our connecting flight has already left! We got to the customer service desk only for them to tell us that it was a weather issue after the pilot had clearly just told everyone and apologized for overshooting the runway? They offered us nothing! No hotel, no food, no voucher, and no alternative but to come back and try the same thing the next night 24 hrs later! The 3 of us then caught a train into NYC and got a hotel. With no Change of clothes, no tooth brush, and no nothing we get stuck in pouring rain the entire day after checking out of our room we take the train back to Newark! So here I am about $250 in extra expenses , multiple unanswered phone calls to customer service and 29 hours later I'm sitting here on the runway waiting and have been waiting for close to 3 hours waiting on take off! Thanx for the complimentary direct TV just came on after all this time! Yay! Thanks guys! I've never in my life had a worse travel experience!
