The Turntable Does Not Turn, What Could Be The Problem

After 3 years of reliable service, the turntable does not turn. the shaft is not cracked or broken. The shaft is not free spining so I know it is still engage to the gear underneath. Short of taking it apart , is therre a quick troubleshooting fix?
