Does A Vizio Tv Have To Be On Av1 To Operate A Directv Receiver

Hi, it depends on which ports you have the DirecTV receiver plugged into the TV. If it's plugged in the back, if you look at the ports, there should be an indication above the ports of which input source that is (AV1, AV2, etc.).
