I Have Direct Tv And Can Get A Tv Picture Without Any Trouble. But I Also Would

like to connect my Sony VCR to the TV so I can play DVDs with it. Right now I get sound when I insert a DVD but no picture.

Hi, it sounds like you may have a problem with your cables. If you're using component or RCA cables, check to be sure they are all plugged in properly. If you have extra cables, try swapping them out to see if a different set works better. If you are using an S-video cable for picture, you'll need an additional cable for the sound.
