Why Does Baking Cookies Take 4 X Longer Than Our Renaisance?

We just purchased a new 48" Discovery range and using the correct bake mode (convection bake, after reading onscreen instructions) to cook cookies, it is taking over 30 minutes instead of 12. Using higher temperature, 400 instead of 350 it takes 20 to 25 minutes. We never had this problem with our Renaissance, which baked everything perfectly. Please help
