Esam 3300 Power On Initialization Issue

Hi,When I plug power cord into receptacle the machine starts its initialization cycle properly by moving infuser to the bottom. However, following that, it moves the infuser all the way up until the it is stopped by the switch in its uppermost position. Please not that this happens right after the power cord is plugged into the wall, i.e. before machine's power switch is operational. It looks as if the controller "does not know" where the infuser is on the shaft. Is the switch in upper infuser position used to stop infuser movement during normal operation or should the controller know how much press the coffee and the switch is there only to prevent uncontrolled infuser movement upwards in case of malfunction?Thank you for your answer,Thomas Otasek
