Why Is My Laptop Just Beeping ????

laptop beeps at me 5 times, but starts up, then it continues to beep as i am working.  I dont know why??, My computer is inspiron n5050

Hi Gomeshanda,

Five beeps means that the Real Time Clock (RTC) power has failed. Replacing the CMOS battery should fix the issue.
