I Am Traveling With A Portable Oxygen Machine.

I am traveling with a portable oxygen machine. Is there anything I need to do to avoid delay at time of arrival. Is this considered my carry on bag? Checked bag? Please advise. Trip is Feb. 16 flight 7377 Should I bring my handicap placard? Also, traveling with 85 yr. old hip problem Mother-in -law. Is it possible to be seated in advance?
