The Program Info Banner On The Top Of The Screen Won't Go Away. Why?

How do I make the program info banner on the top of the screen go away? It stays on after changing channels. If I press the info button and then the return to live tv button the banner is gone.

Allow me to assist you with that, hddeluxe!  What type of receiver do you have?  Also, try leaving it alone when you flip to any given channel and let me know if it times out and disappears on its own after a few seconds.
