Screen Says Aquiring Satelitte For Two Days Now

Hi spencervenus, I would be happy to help you get the signal loss issue that you're experiencing resolved. There are a few trouble shooting steps that you can try in order to fix this issue. Please first try a hard reset by unplugging the receiver from the wall outlet for 10 seconds. You can also try a check switch test by pressing menu 6-1-1 on your DISH remote, select check switch then select test. If you get a 836 message at the end of the test do not save. If the issue continues after you have tried this you will want to make sure that all the cables on the back of your receiver are hand tight. You will also want to make sure that you are not experiencing any bad weather in the area or any obstructions to your dish outside. If you are still experiencing signal loss after you have tried all trouble shooting steps you are going to need a tech to go to your home to resolve this issue.
