Duracell Batteries Have Destroyed My Daughters Camera

I have run into this problem before, a lot of times you can remove the corroded batteries, then use a dremel tool with a brush accessory to clean the contacts, if you dont have a dremel tool a metal/wire brush or steel wool can be used to gently remove any corrosion on the contacts. there are some solvents that can be used to remove corrosion, like coca-cola, for example will work even, but you would want to use it very sparingly so you dont get it in the camera itself. hope this helps!
