Esurance Claims?

I recently repaired a vehicle for someone who has esurance. He told me his check was in the mail so I did the repairs (about 2100 worth) and they he tells me they didn’t send his check because there is a lein on his car. Well long story short I contacted esurance and they agreed to transfer the funds from his claim to my account. It states on the site that the funds were issued as of 6/14/2011. Does that mean they sent them to my bank? There is nothing showing on my bank account yet.  I don't want to release the car to him until I get paid.
