Unrecognizable Computer

I received an e-mail from FB stating that FB website was accessed by an unrecognizable computer. Can any addition info be provided to me? i.e. can you tell me who attempted to/or did access my FB account?Thank you, JF

1. We're an independent help site not connected with Facebook.

2. Messages of this type are commonly used by scamsters to illegitimately obtain log-in information. Before answering at all, verify that this really came from Facebook. You or someone a bit more knowledgeable should be able to determine the true sender from the source code. In any case, don't click on any link in the message.

3. Even if the message is legitimate, Facebook won't provide personal support. if you have any doubt at all, change your password. If you can't log in, go to https://www.facebook.com/hacked

If you always sign in on a certain computer, for instances, your home computer then facebook recognizes that computer, but if you log in from a friend's computer or from a library facebook doesn't recognize it unless you hit the, "This was me" button in the security notification. It for you safety only, if you are sure you didn't log on, someone could have your password. You can report it to facebook or click on more details about the unrecognizable computer.
