Not Common Facebook Login Issue. Please Read Details Below

Facebook won't let me in to my account with my current password (says it's incorrect). After I try and reset it (via accessing my email account that connects to it) I get the page where facebook asks me to imput a new password and then type it again to confirm. But after I do that and hit the next/continue button it brings me back to the same page with a "Database down, a temporary error has occured please try again" and if I try again it tells me that I have an invallid link, but I've followed all of the instructions to not have an invalid link and this has been going on for over 4 days now. My account is still on facebook and my email address still links to that facebook account. Facebook does have downed databases but they facebook says it should not last more than several hours and if it lasts longer email them about the problem. I have done so probably about once a day and they keep on sending me the automated "check the help center for more info," but the help center doesn't cover this problem (I've tried everything the help center offers). What should I do? PLEASE TAKE THIS QUESTION SERIOUSLY AND NOT JUST COPY/PASTE INFO THAT IS OF NO HELP TO ME, THIS IS NOT A NORMAL FACEBOOK PROBLEM. Thank you again for your time and any help you cen lend me would be greatly appreciated!

There are several possible problems. It could be as simple as typing your password with the caps lock key on. Make sure it's off. Or the problem could stem from an outdated browser, or overloaded cache or cookies.

Except for the caps lock key issue, these issues are all addressed at length on this Facebook page.
