I Can't Make Comments, Update My Status & Top Icons Are Missing.

I was able to get into my Facebook acct a couple days ago and now when I try to click on a friends status to comment or "like" something, it won't let me. It seemed to work again for a few hours, but stopped. Also, the "Friends", "Messages" and "Notifications" icons at the top of the screen are missing. Pls help! I'm on the road a lot and like to keep in touch thru Facebook as much as possible Thx!
