To Odin: Continuing Database Down Facebook Problem. My Response

Ok.  So I have tried everything you have suggested (caps lock off, browser up-to-date, tried accessing different browsers including firefox, google chrome, and internet explorer), no overloaded cache or cookies.  Facebook help pages are useless, I've tried everything they have suggested and facebook doesn't give me any reply to my submitted complaint forms besides automated "look at our help page" responses.  The problem: I have gotten to the screen where I can make a new password (any password I want, caps lock on or off) and I get the "database down" note.  This note appears directly above the same page (the imput new password page) that I had just completed and does not let me go further on.  If I put in another password I get an invalid link note and facebook then loops me back to the "send a password to your email account to change it" page.  Thank you for the help you've given me so far Odin. It is stuff one should look into if they had a basic problem logging into facebook (i rated your last response helpful as a form of thanking you).  But my problem seems a bit more complicated than what you've already given me.  Any other advice?  What should I do?  I'll try posting a picture to give a visual to this as well.

Sorry about your problems. The only other issue I can think of is that Facebook may be making an improvement to the database that your account is stored on.

(Facebook doesn't do site maintenance on all accounts at the same time.)

If you think that may be the issue, you may wish to follow these instructions to clear your browser's cache and cookies, if you haven't yet done so. If that doesn't work, try submitting this Facebook form.
