I Cannot See My Own Posts On Fb's Newsfeed

I have checked every setting that I can think of and compared it to my daughters, who has used the same PC, and she can see her own posts whereas I cannot. The only posts of mine that I can see on the NewsFeed are the ones where I comment on another person's post. I would appreciate any help you can give.
