You can request a password reset by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link located near the "Login" button on the login page. Facebook will then send you an email with a link to reset your password.

I had the exact same problem. I always just leave my face book on so whenever i click on the icon i don't have to login. First, you have to log out of your account, then click on the forgot my password link. Then you can send a new password right to your email. Hope I helped!
