I Can Not Set Up A Facebook Account It Will Not Go Past First Page Why/

I am trying to set up a facebook account. How to set it up is easy. I went to www.facebook.com came to the site. I typed in my first name,last name,clicked on my gender,my email address,and I made up a password clicked on the sign up button and it would not move past the first page!!!!! Why!!! is it my password that I picked? WHY, WHY AND WHY won't the facebook move past the first page on my computer? Please help me.
