Replace Or Repair Of The Carburetor Or Fuel Injector

The F350 Alumalite Motorhome is on a F350 body.  It has approximately 60,000 miles on the engine.  It is now blowing black exhaust and going through gas like it was water.   The symptoms indicate the carburetor or fuel injector needs replacing.  I need the manual to determine which one is installed, where it is and how to replace it.  Is there such a thing as a beginners manaul?
