Steady (1) Surface Light On Even Non In Use.

I Have a Frigidaire PLESc89EC Stainless Steel Ceramic top Electric Range. I can see on the cooking surface that one of the element is on or remans lighted but actually  all the cooking control switch are off. Red dot remains lighted but surface top is cool. How do I troubleshoot this problem?
