Water

Unit Was Covered And Stored On Outside Deck Over The Winter.....just Unwrapped And Found Water Was Sitting Inside The Unit.....came Pouring Out.......will Not Turn On........is Unit Destroyed Due To Water Saturation Or Can It Sit And Dry Before It Will Operate?

Hello DMCHIL – I would recommend draining the water out completely and allowing the unit to dry approximately 24-48 hours. Since water was stored for a long period of time, there is a possibility that the components are more than likely rusted or damaged. If issue persists, the unfortunately the only way to guarantee if the unit will function properly is by seeking assistance from a professional to accurately diagnose the air conditioner.
