My Dryer Has Power But Won't Start

I've checked the power cord, the lint screen is clean, and the vent going out is clear. when I push start it just hums but doesn't start. we were just using it and then this happened.

Hi joshua13 – From what you are describing, it sounds like the dryer may possibly have a wiring failure, faulty control board, thermal limiter or defective door switch. I personally recommended consulting a service provider for an accurate diagnosis and to assist with the repairs.
