Fi-6240 Emulation Mode
Fujitsu fi-6240 scanner, Service Manual at Appendix 2, describes Emulation Mode, but instructions do not work. Please advise how to enter emulation mode.Can PCA firmware be updated without special hardware interface? If so, then how?

To enter emulation mode on the Fujitsu fi-6240 scanner, you can follow these steps:
- Turn off the scanner.
- Press and hold the Function button and the Pause button.
- Turn on the scanner while continuing to hold down the Function and Pause buttons.
- After a few seconds, the scanner will beep and the LCD will display "EMU ON."
If these instructions are not working for you, there may be an issue with the scanner's firmware or hardware. In that case, it's recommended to contact Fujitsu support for further assistance.
Regarding updating the PCA firmware without special hardware, it's not recommended to attempt to update the firmware without the necessary hardware interface.
