Square Blue Light Flashing
How do I stop the small square light from flashing on my Genie Silentmax 1000 garage door opener.Revolution Series.

The small square light on your Genie SilentMax 1000 garage door opener is the limit sensor light. It is flashing because the limit sensors are not aligned properly. The limit sensors are two infrared beams that are used to prevent the garage door from closing on anything in its path.
To stop the small square light from flashing, you need to align the limit sensors. Here are the steps on how to do it:
Locate the limit sensors. They are usually located on either side of the garage door opening, about 6 inches from the floor.
Make sure that the lenses on the sensors are clean. If they are dirty, wipe them with a soft cloth.
Align the sensors so that they are facing each other. You can do this by adjusting the mounting screws on the sensors.
Once the sensors are aligned, press and hold the square button on the garage door opener for 5 seconds. The limit sensor light should stop flashing.
