Google Has The Wrong Hours

Hi,Google has the incorrect hours on our ad and are refusing to change them for us unless we pay them. Extortion???How do I go about changing them or removing the ad?Thanks

Your complaint that the wrong hours are "on our ad" could mean several things, as folks tend to use the term "ad" loosely.

If you simply mean Google's search results, that's covered by the instructions at this Google page, and as you can see, no payment from you is required. Google does however solicit and accept paid advertising, and if that's what you mean, Google is obliged to run the wording you paid for.

Are you sure the request for money to make the change came from Google? Fraudsters often impersonate Google reps.

I suggest you make contact with Google corporate, using the contact information below. If necessary you can complain to the California Dept of Consumer affairs, at 916-445-1254.
