Hello: I Am Looking For The Google Voice System That Precisely Suites My Needs

I need a Google phone number that can receive inquiry calls and transcribe the voicemail message to my Gmail account. I have seen the various Google Voice presentations, but have been unable to isolate the system that answers this need. Your recommendation would be much appreciated,

[@Odin: www.google.com/voice is the url to google voices home page. do a search for google voice and see for yourself. And once you have set up a google voice account and are logged in, when you go to that url it takes you straight to the voicemail transcripts. Thank you for correcting me but you are incorrect sir.]

I used google voice for a while and that is exactly what it does. When you put the app on your phone you have in the apps settings the choice to have it or your native voice mail to take your missed calls and if you choose to have google voice intercept your calls it will transcribe(somewhat accurately) to your gmail and that is also a setting that you can disable if you wish.

I loved it. I only quit using it because my freinds basically refused to use the new number i kept giving them.

helpowl wont let us post google urls so i had to break that up but thats it. its not hard to set up at all. just follow the directions

The advice TexasDeviL gives you is essentially correct, but using his Web address (even eliminating the space he inserted) will get you nowhere except a "page not found" error. You can get started with Google Voice at www.google.com/googlevoice/about.html, which also elaborates its features.
