I Just Signed Up To Try Google + And Lost All Images On 2 Blogs. Help !?!

I understand about Picasa and it's relation to blogs. I did not delete images from blog in Picasa- they were not visible to me there. But, when I tried Google + my images from 2 blogs disapeared. This is a professional issue. I am an illusrator/teacher and the images are of artwork and instruction. I have seen message boards at Google - many people have lost many years of work. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
