How To Remove Motor Mounting Plate From Motor?

Removed motor via 4 long housing cap screws with attached seal plate and motor mounting plate.  Want to mount new motor on old motor moiunting plate.  Cant separate seal plate from motor mounting plate to remove from old motor.  mode; SP2807X10.  Don't want to force or rip internals.
