Hp 1000 Status Idle On Mac

How do I get it to print ? It says it is idle, it was able to print a test page but nothing else. I just got this printer.

Since you are using this device on a Mac computer, you should consider installing the right driver software for Mac OS. The Mac OS driver software can be found at HP website. Here's the link to the download page for your convenience.
