Make sure that the wax is the correct type for the unit. The PAR-350 is designed for use with paraffin wax, not soy wax or other types of wax.

Use the correct amount of wax. The PAR-350 can hold up to 1 pound of wax. If you use too much wax, it will not melt evenly.

Make sure that the unit is plugged in properly and that the power cord is not damaged.

Try a different outlet. Sometimes a power outlet can be faulty and not deliver enough power to the unit.

If the wax starts to solidify around the edges, scrape it off and add more hot wax to the center.

Allow the unit to cool completely before storing it.
