Is It Possible To Find Out Who Is Using Your Personal Information Using Their

Is it possible to find out who is using your personal infomation using their hotmail account. I have been receiving phone calls from various vendors telling me I am buying calls and schools about furthering my education. I have the email address that this individual is using. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately there is little you can do. It's a trivial matter to spoof an email address. Odds are a spammer is using your email as the return address to send out bulk email. I've been hit with this numerous times. The spam filters check the validity of the senders email and by using a known good address the spam goes through (usually).

If someone is really using your info you'll need to do detective work to find them. Get as much info as you can from anyone that gets back to you. Beyond that there is little you can do except changing your email address. It's very easy for someone to hide on the Internet.

Plus this may be a ligitimate mistake. Its very possible this other person actually has the same name as you and they may have mistyped something.
