How To Tell Microsoft That I Boycotted Them For Blocking My Hotmail Account?

I have been a Hotmail account holder since 1997 and accessed my account till a week ago. Suddenly, Microsoft tells me that I am not the account holder and is asking me bizarre questions for "recovering" my account and harassing me. I have decided to forego my Hotmail account and boycott Microsoft outlook.com. Can anybody advise how could I get this message across to Microsoft?

There appears more information would have helped answer this question, so please bear with me while I try to fill in the blanks.

It is not completely clear why you would need to recover your account, or how Microsoft informed you of not being the Account Holder, unless you read this Microsoft message from your inbox. Which would indicate you have, or had, access to your emails.

Therefore, I will assume (and hope I am correct} that you read an email which appeared to be from Microsoft, advising you to provide some personal information by a certain date, or you will lose access to your email account. (ie: First, last name, Social Security number, Address, etc) if this is correct, please continue reading.

The 'Official' looking email sent from Microsoft, is not actually from them. It is likely a Hacker trying to obtain your information. I suggest you DO NOT reply to the email. You may either, report this person by clicking "Report" found above the hacker's message. Or, disregard and delete the message.

Please keep in mind, Microsoft will not ask for personal information from a member to recover that account. Instead, they provide an Account/Password Recovery page to assist a member who can not access their account for whatever reason.

Having stated all this, If you still would like to contact Microsoft about your complaint, you may call their toll free number to speak with a representative during normal business hours.
