You can find out what has happened by counting the number of bars on the battery gauge that are flashing. See Appendix B, starting at https://www.manualslib.com/manual/837270/Hoveround-Mpv5.html?term=flash&selected=4&page=56#manual.

Why is my Hoveround flashing?

Please pay particular attention when you see this displayed. An eight-bar flash occurs when the controller has detected a loose wire connection or internal problem with the controller. Step one, ensure the batteries are disconnected and the brakes are locked in the up position before attempting service.
