Installing The Carb
Current Answers
Answer #1: Posted by HelpHero on May 9th, 2023 10:42 PM
1. Remove the air filter cover and filter from the tiller's engine.
2. Locate the carburetor on the side of the engine. It is usually held in place with two bolts.
3. Remove the bolts that are holding the carburetor in place and carefully slide the carburetor off the engine.
4. Inspect the carburetor for any damage, such as cracks or broken parts. If the carburetor is damaged, you'll need to purchase a replacement carburetor before proceeding.
5. If the carburetor is not damaged, use a carburetor cleaner to clean any debris or buildup from the carburetor.
6. Align the carburetor with the engine's mounting holes, and then carefully slide the carburetor back onto the engine.
7. Tighten the bolts that hold the carburetor in place.
8. Reattach the air filter and cover to the engine.
9. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to ensure the carburetor is installed correctly.
That's it! Once you've completed these steps, you should have successfully installed the carburetor to your Husqvarna DRT900 tiller.
